Biography
Jennifer Taveras is a first-generation Environmental Engineer with roots in the Dominican Republic. After migrating to the United States in pursuit of higher education, she has passionately dedicated over a decade to the field of Education.
Her journey began as a Science Advisor at the City College of New York, where she provided invaluable guidance to college students in pursuits of science majors. Currently, she serves as the Associate Director of the STEM Institute, where she orchestrates day-to-day programming with utmost dedication, and aids providing underrepresented students with FREE academic learning opportunities.
Jennifer’s heart beats for event planning, public speaking, and staff training. Her proficiency in these areas has enabled her to expertly lead teams through various projects. From the meticulous planning and flawless execution of events to handling intricate logistics, Jennifer’s multifaceted skills shine.
